Infants - 5th Graders
Our Kids Ministry aims to introduce all children to Jesus, lead them to a point where they choose to follow Him, and grow to live a life pleasing to Him.
From nursery age through elementary school we strive to show our love and teach God’s word in a relevant and understandable way. All ages progress chronologically through the Bible in 3-4 years. Each age group is taught the same lesson and the same main point to assist in life transformation in an age appropriate way.
Sunday School classes focus on activities and discussion around the lesson and point; Kids Street and Little Kids street focus on presenting the lesson in an exciting and dynamic way assisted by puppets, songs and games.
Because of Siler's size, Sunday School teachers and children's leaders know the children personally. Leaders strive to develop friendships with the children, as well as minister to their spiritual needs.
Each child is known by name and treated as a gift from the Creator.
During Services
8:30am + 11:00am
Nursery
Infants - 3 years old
During 8:30 & 11:00 Worship Services in the Nursery and Toddler rooms (by Sanctuary), and taught by Ms. Kathy; assisted occasionally by volunteers.
Kids Street
4 years old - 5th Grade
During 8:30 & 11:00 Worship Services. Taught by Ms. Crystal. Includes dynamic Bible lessons, Bible verse games, engaging songs, and a great time!
Sunday Small Groups
9:45-10:45am
Small Group Time includes: Games, Puzzles, talking, (occasional food), and fun! Focused on what is learned at the 8:30 and 11:00 services.
Birth - 4 years old
Located in Huneycutt Hall Nursery and Toddler rooms (by Sanctuary) and led by Ms. Kathy.
K - 3rd Grades
Located in the upstairs “Ocean Room” of the Dodd building. Taught by Ms. Ruth and Ms. Heather, assisted by Hannah Barfield, Kierianne, and Annabella.
4th - 5th Grades
Located in the upstairs “Bug Room” in the Dodd building. Taught by Ms. Sarah and Ms. Kate, assisted by Keenan.
